Research on numerical simulation for partial discharge of epoxy interface excited by high‐frequency sinusoidal voltage

High-frequency sinusoidal voltage excitation is proposed as a feasible method to solve the difficulty of partial discharge detection at epoxy interface. In order study development process under high-frequency stress, two-dimensional plasma simulation model for needle-plate electrode structure established by coupling particle transport equation, Poisson equation and chemical reaction. The adopts reaction set reduce modelling generation, disappearance charged particles. It realises dynamic spatial–temporal distribution characteristics microscopic parameters such electron density, temperature surface charge are obtained. Based on this model, interface different frequencies further studied in work. results show that with increase applied frequency, shows an increasing trend, but its rate gradually slows down; while accumulation decreases uniformly frequency. These two factors make severest frequency 10 kHz. verified from aspects form intensity experimental means.
